It is hard to write about yourself. Collin and I had a hard time writing our About page, too. It feels weird to try and sum up all of your experience and passion into a paragraph or two. Did you know that it took us several weeks of back and forth editing to get the opening paragraphs of our About page. Our goal is to convey our core belief … that you can and must take control of your online marketing to grow your business.

We then wanted you to get to know our individual stories and experiences. Again, not by just listing our degrees or past jobs, but by letting you inside our journey to form lo + co group, llc. Collin and I each wrote about how we first came to know the world of graphic design, website design and online marketing. Most importantly, we share with you the story of how we have each applied the work we do within lo + co to other businesses we own.
Collin used her incredible graphic design skills to build GiftedLabels.com, a website selling do-it-yourself wine labels and other printables. I lent my skills of website design to help Collin design the website she envisioned for her company and to set up the automatic delivery of the PDF downloads/printables. Collin now has over 2,500 email subscribers, 1,200 Facebook fans and has even had her company, GiftedLabels.com, featured on the Today Show!
I used my web design and online marketing skills to build StitchesofLoveQuilting.com, a website selling printed and PDF downloadable applique quilt patterns designed by my mom, Julie Love. Collin lent her graphic design skills to develop the logo and branding of our company, the pattern layouts and printed sales materials including our semi-annual catalogs. In the past two years we have grown from zero audience to over 10,000 email subscribers, 8,600 Facebook fans and global wholesale and consumer sales in over 20 countries.
